To upgrade / repair your existing DC motor kit with replacement Circuit board PCB

The new Mk12 PCB is a significant advance on all previous designs - it is not available for the Standard kit which has not changed for 12 years or so.

If you have a Standard kit (Red LED on front panel) you can repair any faults by ordering the replacement standard PCB.
You can also massively upgrade your kit by ordering the Advanced or Ultra PCB - To accept this offer, order the relevant option opposite and then either fit the Advanced PCB yourself or get us to do it. If you choose to upgrade to the Ultra option then you need to send in your Standard box to us and we will send you a brand new Ultra Box once we receive your kit.

If you have an Advanced kit (Green LED on front panel) you can significantly upgrade or repair this kit by ordering the replacement Mk12 advance PCB. To accept this offer, order the relevant option opposite and then either fit the PCB yourself or get us to do it.

Alternatively you can massively upgrade your Advanced kit by ordering the MK12 Ultra PCB. If you do this, then it is necessary to send in your existing Advanced box and we will send you a brand new Ultra PCB in a black box.

If you have an Ultra kit (Blue LED on front panel) you can massively upgrade or repair any faults by ordering the replacement Ultra PCB.
Note: IIf you do this, then it is necessary to send in your existing Ultra box and we will install the new PCB for you. - see last option.

Installing the new PCB is a simple proceedure where we provide your all the tools necessary except pliers and a small screwdriver.
If you would rather we carried out the work then you can send your box in for us to carry out the install.

If you have an advanced or Ultra dc motor kit serial number below 130316 then you can experience a significant upgrade by ordering a new PCB. The current MK12 PCBs improve a great deal on all previous versions by virtue of a highly evolved design that produces an ultra stable voltage and unimpeded current delivery to reduce motor vibration.

You can know the age of your dc motor kit from the first 2 numbers of the serial number which denote the year of production e.g The Serial Number 081013 means that the kit was built in 2008 in the 10th month (November) on the 13th day of that month. This is helpfull to know as the regulators have improved year on year.
