The fourth generation of the original Benz wood body cartridge, the Ref S uses the MicroRidgestylus and the generator developed for the Ebony L (.26mV at 3.54cm/sec, 5 ohm coil impedance). The Benz Micro Ref S Moving Coil MC Cartridge is ideal with high gain phono stages (>60dB) with input impedance of less than 300 ohms or when using step-up transformers.
